What is SEO

The Basic SEO Ranking Factors
There are tonnes of ranking factors when it comes to SEO but the basics generally remain the same.
Title Tag – The title tag is designed to tell the search engine and the user what the page is about. The titles should be 70 characters or less with your targeted keyword/s included as well as your brand name if it fits.
Meta Description – The meta decription itself does not directly impact your SEO efforts but it can help dirct the user to your website if it is written well. Really good meta descriptions can increase click through rate (CTR) which inadvertently helps your SEO efforts.
Sub-headings – Try to stick to 1 H1 tag per page. Make sure it contains your main keyword as well. Utilise the H2 and H3 tags as well to help search engines better understand the layout and what your site is about.
Internal Links – Internal links help the search engine crawlers to better understand and travel around your site. A proper internal linking structure is a great ay to help boost rankings.
